Otto´s Restaurantschiff in Rostock

I am pleased that many guests are more than satisfied with their visit to Otto's. It was my first visit and that was more than a mess. The party room was reserved / rented for my sister's birthday party. Due to a lack of communication between the employees, the party room was rented twice at this time. A solution to the problem of accommodating more than 20 guests was quickly found by the staff, but whether that was really the solution when 13 guests are seated at a 10 person table remains questionable. The friendliness of the staff is also highly praised here, but this disappears immediately as soon as the staff leaves the table and the facial expression seems rather bored. For me it was the first and last visit to Otto's. I give a star for the ambience and the view. This is probably due to the fact that we always respond to the wishes of our guests and, if there is a problem, we try to solve it to their satisfaction. We already discussed with your hostess on the evening of your visit that there was NO booking from her side and no booking confirmation from us for our event area. Nevertheless, we made it possible for you to be able to use the area for your dance at a later hour and that without the usual room rental. You should also take a look at the mail traffic at this point (as we did that evening) before pointing your finger at others. Of course, we are also extremely sorry that our service staff ONLY at the table or at the guest are friendly and courteous and then immediately look bored again .. or maybe you just have to concentrate a little to give all guests a nice evening. But who knows that. Whereby we honestly ask ourselves at this point how you can recognize and interpret the above-described "bored facial expression" under a mask covering 3/4 of the face. But everyone has their superpowers. Personally, I think that your rating is an absolute cheek and you didn't understand the point of a rating portal either. But nice that you puked yourself up here. As you can see it covers 3/4 of the face and you can't see anything underneath. In conclusion, I would like to say that you do not need to reply to this. Best price performance ratio. Delicious food beyond expectation. We were there for lunch during the week. I can only recommend it.

Original restaurant on a ship. Super friendly service and the food is very tasty, but also for sporty prices. Unusually long wait for drinks that came with the meal. Or maybe it was the happy hour.

Time really good! Fast, delicious, cozy, with a beautiful view of the Warnow. It's a shame I wasn't hungry, but my wife and children were very happy.

A very nice restaurant for a nice evening with friends. The sunset view over water was beautiful. The waiters were very friendly, always approachable without being intrusive. The food was very tasty and appetizingly presented. Maybe not the cheapest restaurant, but we think it's worth it.

But it doesn't, we were looking for a restaurant to eat with our little one (2.5 years old) and were very impressed by the friendly and very courteous service, our mouse got a couple of crayons and a sheet of paper ?? So child-friendly alone ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ For food, we had the fish platter for two and each fish was a poem (we've had it differently, even in fish restaurants), the side dishes were fresh and everything was very tasty. We also had starters, the goat cheese is highly recommended and, if you are not very hungry, a good meal in between. The chef knows his trade and don't leave it out! Small boat restaurant but has some parking out front. Nice ambiance. Limited menu, but what they had looked good. We split the fish plate for 2 and were really impressed by everything.

The last time I was there was in April 2017 (for the opening) and I'm still a fan of Otto's! The rare visit is unfortunately only due to the long journey from the federal capital. Great menu put together for a family celebration. I hope that there won't be as much time before my next visit ?

Arrived specially from NRW for a family celebration on Saturday, September 12th, 2020 (Youth consecration) The celebration took place on the restaurant ship. First of all, a great location on the Warnow. The service team was extremely courteous and super friendly. The food was very good e.g. the ox cheeks were a dream. From the starter to the dessert, everything was recommendable. We can only recommend that everyone who makes a stop in Rostock or who lives nearby give it a try. We will be back in any case. We celebrated our wedding with 40 people at Otto's and were very satisfied. We received great support and advice right from the start. On the wedding day we didn't have to worry about anything. The food, the atmosphere and the service were just great and were also highly praised by the guests. We are just thrilled and grateful for this wonderful day! Thank you so much!

Today we were invited by friends there. We were so happy because so far we've only heard good things. The ambience is really very nice, from the interior design and the view anyway. Unfortunately it was very loud. The waitress was rather unmotivated, almost indifferent, as if she just wanted to get rid of everything quickly. The fish dishes and the turkey were delicious. Unfortunately, the ox cheeks had failed completely. Much too tough, in slices, sinewy and with cartilage ... that doesn't work!

We had lunch there. Sat outside and ate superbly. The service was quick and super nice. There was pikeperch with fried potatoes and vegetables. The pikeperch on point, the fried potatoes with bacon are very tasty and the paprika zucchini vegetables just right, firm to the bite and very good in taste. We treated ourselves to espresso and cheesecake for dessert. A delicacy. The espresso was very good, strong, hot and tasty. The cake a poem. THANK YOU

Clear 5 stars. You can recognize a good restaurant by the food, the service and the toilets. Every one here excellent. Highly recommended. Great ambience. Always happy.

A hidden tip. It was hard to find the ship at first because it looked like a building. When you are inside it does move back and forth. We had Otto's Matjes, Fruit Salad plate and Wild Bratwurst. We were all very pleased with the quantity, quality and price. A recommended place to eat. They also provide meal cruises.

A restaurant in a prime harbor location in Rostock, the prices are a bit more expensive but everything is reasonable The food is super delicious and tastefully arranged ? Absolutely fabulous food and service. Was there in July 2018. Unique decor. Quiet garden/sea feel. It is a must stop for us. Our seafood at that visit was fresh. Tried a few varieties.

Quite nice location, food was decent. Had requested fresh fish and the waiter was very honest and said that they have only frozen fish besides salmon. I have ordered pasta with grilled salmon. Like it - nothing over the top but was absolutely fine. And honestly is something you can't buy. Well done !

We have celebrated the 80th birthday of my grandma and pre-booked a table. It was very nicely decorated, comfortable, staff was super friendly and fast and the food was really good. We were very satisfied. However, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is quickly seasick, as it yet, sometimes swaying to something with bigger waves oä

In short : Amazing experience. Ambiance is perfect, jazz in the background river by your side with great food and service. You can not ask for more. Food had perfect blend of flavors. Portion is not too much so I would recommend an appetizer or a dessert along with a main course. There are only 2 main course dishes for vegetarians and none for vegans in the menu.

Fish is good. Not big size meal but good.

Just Ok. Service was a bit slow. The fish selection is small and although the dishes were ok, there was nothing specially memorable in the quality or presentation of the food.
